MySQL on your own machine, without the console.

Depfloy provisions MySQL on a server you control and manages databases, users and permissions from the dashboard. Backups run on a schedule to the destination you choose, and restore is one screen away.

Supported
Databases and users without a shell

Create a database, create a user, grant it what it needs — from the dashboard, with the connection URL ready to copy into the project's environment.

Scheduled dumps with retention

Set a frequency and how many copies to keep. Old runs are pruned automatically, and each one records its size and checksum.

Reachable only from where it should be

Firewall rules are managed per server, so the database port can be opened to your app subnet and closed to everything else.

MySQL here is the same MySQL you already know. What changes is that the routine work — users, backups, firewall, config — is in the same dashboard as the app that talks to it.

FAQ

MySQL questions

Is this the same as a managed cloud database? +
The management is similar; the ownership is not. The server is yours, the data sits on your disk, and your provider bills you for the machine.
What about MySQL 8.4? +
On Ubuntu 26.04 the distribution ships 8.4, and Depfloy provisions accordingly. On earlier releases it is MySQL 8.
Can I restore a backup onto a different server? +
Yes. Restores target a database you choose, which is what makes staging refreshes from a production dump straightforward.

Six other services, provisioned the same way.

Each one is installed, firewalled and monitored from the same console.
