PostgreSQL on your hardware, managed from a dashboard.

Depfloy installs PostgreSQL on a server you own and manages it from the same place as your apps — databases, users, the config file, replication and backups. The data never leaves your machine.

Streaming replication clusters

Promote a second server to a replica and Depfloy configures the replication slot, tracks the lag in bytes and seconds, and shows which node is primary.

PgBouncer when connections outgrow the server

Connection pooling is installed and configured from the same screen, with the pool settings editable rather than hidden in a file you have to SSH in to find.

postgresql.conf is editable from here

The config file is edited in the dashboard and the service restarts on save, so tuning does not mean a separate SSH session.

PostgreSQL is the database Depfloy manages most deeply — replication and pooling are configured from the dashboard rather than left as an exercise.

FAQ

PostgreSQL questions

Which PostgreSQL versions can I install? +
18, 17 and 16. The version is chosen when the service is installed on the server.
Can the database be on a different server from the app? +
Yes, and that is the usual shape. Provision a database server, connect the app over the private network, and open the port to the app subnet only.
How do backups work? +
A schedule per database, to S3, Cloudflare R2, any S3-compatible endpoint, SFTP, FTP or the server's own disk. Runs are listed with their size and checksum, and restore is part of the same screen.

Six other services, provisioned the same way.

Each one is installed, firewalled and monitored from the same console.
